Dumelang, my name is Nthebe Eric Peloewetse, a motswana filmmaker residing ini Tlokweng. I am currently working on a series of documentary production focusing on the Liberation Struggles of SADC countries. I am eager to tell the story of the Herero and the Mbukushu tribes who fled into Bechuanaland and are now part of present day Botswana. I am reaching out to the Embassy seeking understanding of how to collaborate with the Nation of Namibia to tell this compelling human story reflecting on how the German Administration had tormented and scattered black Africans only to take hold of the natural resources and economic wellbeing. I wish to collaborate with Namibia Broadcasting Cooperation to under take this initiative. I am trusting that through the Embassy, I will be able to access archive material and resource persons the the areas that interviewees will discuss in their narration of the history they remember.
